The secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of African Affairs, Mrs.Selma Bakhta Mansouri, received on Tuesday, in Algiers, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr.Abou Bakr Hefny, on the sidelines of the 12th High-Level Seminar on Peace and Security in Africa (Oran Process).

The meeting was an opportunity to reaffirm the strong historical ties between the two brotherly countries and peoples and to assess the sustained pace of bilateral cooperation in various fields, as well as to exchange views on a number of African issues of common interest and to emphasize the need to continue coordination and consultation regarding crises on the African continent.
