Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr.Ahmed Attaf, received on Monday, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission,Mr.Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, on the sidelines of the 12th High-Level Seminar on Peace and Security in Africa (Oran Process).

During these talks, political developments and the security situation in the African continent as well as the additional challenges arising from the complex international environment were reviewed.

The two sides exchanged views on developments in the Sahel-Sahara region as well as those concerning the Western Sahara question, along with the African Union’s role in addressing these issues.
