Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr.Ahmed Attaf, received Monday the African Union Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, Mr.Bankole Adeoye, on the sidelines of the 12th High-Level Seminar on Peace and Security in Africa Oran Process.

During the meeting, which focused on ways to strengthen the AU's capacity to address current peace and security challenges, the Minister of State reaffirmed Algeria's steadfast and unwavering support for all efforts aimed at developing and implementing African solutions to African problems.

For his part, the AU Commissioner praised Algeria's role in the UN Security Council in defending African causes and priorities, as well as its significant contribution to strengthening joint African action.
