Ambassador's speech

 I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to visitors of the Algerian Embassy in Dublin website, from members of the Algerian community residing in Ireland, as well as our Irish friends and other visitors. We consider this website as a tool of communication through which this diplomatic mission will provide the expected information and services.

I would not fail to point out, in this regard, that the opening of a permanent diplomatic mission in Dublin, in 2020, is a clear indication of the importance that the higher Algerian authorities attach to strengthening of the Algerian Irish relations and ties in different sectors. It is also a clear confirmation of their will and their will to address concerns of the Algerian citizens residing abroad, to bring consular services closer to them and to lend to them the necessary protection.

I am also honored to be the first Algerian ambassador residing in Dublin. I pledge to carry my duty with enthusiasm and determination to better serve our community, and to push forward the multi-faceted relations between Algeria and Ireland thru developing human, economic and cultural exchanges, encouraging investment opportunities and promoting Algerian interests in this friendly country.
