Mr. Attaf received in Brazzaville by Congolese President
The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, was received Wednesday, in Brazzaville, by the President of Congo, Denis Sassou N'Guesso, as part of his official visit as special envoy of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
In this respect, the Minister of State delivered to President Denis Sassou N'Guesso a letter from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, reaffirming his willingness to continue and intensify their efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and contribute to making joint African action more effective.
The meeting was an opportunity to review the progress made in the Algerian-Congolese partnership, in implementation of the measures agreed upon between the leaders of both countries in July 2022, in Algiers, to consult on current continental issues and to emphasize Algeria’s support for President Denis Sassou N'Guesso’s efforts to end division in Libya, as part of his chairmanship of the African Union High-Level Committee on Libya, a brotherly country.
